The facts from the filings

Risks a beginner should actually read

The RHP itself warns that the price band "should not be considered to be indicative of the market price" after listing and that "no assurance can be given regarding an active or sustained trading" in the shares. In plain words: listing gains are not guaranteed, even for a famous name.

Sumit's 5-point IPO checklist

  1. Read the "Risk Factors" and "Basis for Issue Price" sections of the RHP.
  2. Check whether money raised goes to the company (fresh issue) or to sellers (OFS). Here it is 100% fresh issue.
  3. Compare valuation with listed peers.
  4. Apply only with money you will not need soon.
  5. Never borrow to apply for an IPO.
